Debt issuance programmes

This section deals with debt issuance programmes which the company currently has. Notes issued from the MTN programme are listed on the London Stock Exchange. Whilst the company has previously issued SEC registered securities, the company filed form 15-F with the SEC to deregister under the US Securities Exchange Act of 1934 on 25 June 2007. Issuance by the company of debt securities to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) in the US remains possible under Rule 144A of the Securities Act of 1933.
